Desmond Crean
Dip.Arch., Dip.H&S, F.R.I.A.I., C.M.I.O.S.H.
Desmond completed his architectural studies at the College of Technology, Bolton St .Dublin in 1972. He worked for several architectural practices both at home and abroad before eventually establishing Desmond Crean Architects in 1979. In 1992 he and Gerry Salley formed Crean Salley Architects. Desmond holds qualifications in Project Management and Health & Safety.
Declan Doyle
R.I.A.I. (Arch Tech) MCIAT
Declan joined Desmond Crean Architects in 1989. In 1992 he joined with Desmond and Gerry in the formation of Crean Salley Architects in 1992. Declan qualified as Architectural Technician through the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland. Declan became a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technoligists in 2010. He is responsible for the technical development of the Practice.
Gerry Salley
Dip. Arch., B. Arch. (Sc.) F.R.I.A.I.
Gerry completed his architectural studies at the College of Technology, Bolton St., Dublin in 1979. He also worked at home and abroad for several architectural practices before establishing Gerry Salley Architects in 1988. Gerry is responsible for the design direction of the Practice.
Shane Spring
Dip. Arch (Tech)
Shane qualified from Bolton St., College of Technology, Dublin in 1979 receiving a Diploma in Architectural Technology followed by the completion of the Diploma in Architecture course. Having worked in London for several years Shane returned to Ireland joining Gerry Salley Architects in 1988. Shane joined Gerry and Desmond in the forming of Crean Salley Architects in 1992.
David Drain
Dip. Arch., B. Arch. (Sc.) M.R.I.A.I
David qualified from the School of Architecture, Dublin Institute of Technology, Bolton St. in 1998. Having worked abroad for a number of years he returned to Ireland joining Crean Salley Architects in 2001. David was appointed Associate Director in 2008.
Greg Byrne
Dip. Arch. Tech., RIAI (Tech)
Greg joined Crean Salley Architects in 2001, qualifying from Waterford IT with a Diploma in Architectural Technology in 1999. Following a short period travelling and working abroad, he returned in 2004. Greg was appointed as an Associate in 2008.
Shane Horgan
Dip. Arch. Tech.
Having graduated with a Diploma in Architectural Technology from DIT Bolton Street in 1999. Shane worked in a number of practices before joining Crean Salley Architects in 2004. Shane was appointed as an associate in 2008.
