Hugh studied architecture at University College Dublin. After gaining professional experience in Dublin and New York, he joined Crean Salley Architects in 2015, bringing over 30 years' experience in practice. Hugh's portfolio spans commercial, residential, social housing, healthcare, industrial, and sports projects of varying scales and complexity. He has extensive experience collaborating with public bodies and approved housing bodies to deliver new housing within the existing built environment.

Hugh is a member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland and an RIAI Architect Accredited in Conservation at Grade 3. As a Director at CSA, he brings a creative approach, strong leadership, and a collaborative way of working to every project.

Alannah Kidney

Alannah holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Edinburgh. With over ten years' experience across a broad range of project types in Ireland and Scotland, her portfolio spans commercial, sport, social and private residential project work with a particular focus on conservation.​ Central to her work is a client-focused approach, and delivery of adaptive re-use and regeneration projects.

Alannah is a member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland and an RIAI Architect Accredited in Conservation at Grade 3. She was awarded the 2024 O'Keeffe Silver Medal for Academic Excellence in Professional Practice. She serves as an external examiner for the Professional Diploma in Architectural Practice at TU Dublin.

Barry Veale

Barry studied architecture at Waterford Institute of Technology and completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Architectural Practice at Technological University Dublin. With over ten years' experience across Ireland and the UK, he joined Crean Salley Architects in 2017.​ Barry's portfolio spans office and commercial developments, fit-outs, hospitality, pharmaceutical and manufacturing projects, sports and leisure facilities, and residential and social housing schemes. He has a strong interest in conceptual design, construction detailing, and flexible, adaptive design approaches.

Barry is a member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland and recevied the 2025 O'Keeffe Silver Medal for Academic Excellence in Professional Practice.
