Hugh graduated from UCD in 1991 and began his career with Zivkovic Associates in New York city, where he worked from 1992 to 2000. He is a registered architect in the state of New York. He returned to Ireland in 2000 and worked with O’Mahony Pike Architect for 8 years, later working with CPM Architecture, ODA Architecture, and in private practice before joining Crean Salley Architects in 2015 as a Senior Architect. Hugh has extensive experience in multi-unit residential accommodation, commercial, and high-end residential projects. At Crean Salley Architects, he has completed a mixed-use apartment building on Cork Street, numerous residential upgrades, and several family hub projects, including a 415-bed facility in Dublin 22. Currently administering further emergency accommodation projects in Dublin, Hugh has served as design team lead for the Peter McVerry Trust, DePaul Housing and Dublin City Council.

Barry Veale is a highly accomplished designer with a passion for creating innovative, functional, and inspiring spaces. A graduate of the School of Architecture at South East Technological University, Barry began his career at Duffy Mitchell O'Donoghue Architects, honing his craft on large-scale commercial projects in Dublin. In 2017, he brought his expertise to Crean Salley Architects as a senior project architect, where his progressive approach to concept design, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding project management helped reinforce and elevate the practice's standing in the field.

Elevated to Director in December 2022, Barry has cemented his reputation as a leader in the field, specializing in high-end private residential and emergency housing projects. His portfolio reflects a deep understanding of architectural heritage, cutting-edge design, and sustainable practices. Barry has a proven track record of delivering complex projects with precision and creativity, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality while staying on program and within budget.

Barry excels in strategic leadership and coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and navigating both private and public procurement processes. Alannah graduated from Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture and is a member of the Royal Institute of Architects Ireland. She has experience working in a range of projects including multi-use, social housing, conservation, educational, sport and domestic. She has a particular interest in sustainable design through adaptive reuse. Winner of the 2024 O'Keeffe Silver Medal for Academic Excellence in Professional Practice.
