The project involved the complete renovation and refurbishment of a Protected Structure and included the addition of two-storey and single storey extensions to the side and rear of the house. These contemporary additions are of a restrained aesthetic, the most significant feature being the richly detailed suspended red sandstone wall to the gable elevation. Light and natural materials interact richly within the existing architectural and urban environment.
