The brief included removal of the extended portion of the residence, which created a large site on which the new portion of the house has been constructed. The building extends over four floors and includes a large basement. The design of the house is sympathetic to its setting with a strong architectural presence. The interiors have been skilfully designed in an Arts & Crafts style by the interior designer David Hogan.
